In addition to our high security standards, the information required by your loved ones to take action should not require transactional access to your online banking or investment accounts, and will be limited to account numbers or profile identifiers along with the name of the institution or platform. For any insurance related products, all that will be required is the name of the insurer and the policy number.

Wills and Testaments are documents required by the government in which you specify how you wish your assests to be distributed in the event of your death.

Wills however seldom include the specific information required to effectively identify and locate all these assets, which is why having an end-of-life information plan is a vital part of your estate planning. Having access to all the information will support your family and executor to effectively assist with estate proceedings.

In the event of your death or incapacity, your event administrators will initiate and approve the appropriate event. Once the event has been approved, all event administrators who you have assigned access for the approved event type will be able to securely access the information in your Legasee Vault through their app.

As the vault owner, you will be immediately notified of any events initiated on your behalf. You will be able to cancel any invalid attempt to access your information from within the Legasee app.

All active events can also be immediately cancelled from within your account, which is especially relevant in the event of an incapacity event. Once you have recovered from the event you can simply cancel the active incapacity event from within your Legasee app.

You are in full control of your event administrators as well as the events for which they will be able to access the data in your Legasee vault.

The only requirement is that you have a minimum of 3 active event administrators in order to adequately provide for events where both you and one of your event administrators are affected.

To remove an event admin, you simply need to add the new admin you wish to add in their place and select the one you wish to remove, if you already have more than 3 active event admins, you can simply remove the one you wish to remove.

When you add your records to your Legasee Vault, you specify whether the particular record should be released in the event of incapacity. This ensure that only information relevant to incapacity is visible to the event administrators that you have assigned access rights in the event of incapacity.

As the vault owner you can also immediately cancel the active incapacity event once you have recovered, which will immediately remove access to the relevant information for all assigned event administrators.
